Senior Telecom Veteran and Spectrum Pioneer Jeff Hultman Joins LCG as an Advisory Board Member

LCG Capital Announces the Appointment of Telecom Veteran and Spectrum Pioneer, Jeff Hultman, to its Advisory Board Tampa, FL (September 27, 2011) – LCG Capital, a leading transaction advisory firm today announced the appointment of former PacTel CEO, Jeff Hultman, to its Advisory Board. Hultman will be responsible for providing strategic advice to LCG’s clients in its fast growing media and telecommunications practice. Mr. Hultman brings over 40 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, enhancing LCG’s ability to provide its clients with strategic, operational and capital solutions to meet their growth objectives.
Mr. Hultman was the CEO of PacTel Cellular, responsible for increasing revenues from $100 million to over $1.0 billion in three years. Hultman directed PacTel’s efforts to win the West Germany and United Kingdom PCS spectrum licenses, and he partnered with Qualcomm to pioneer a new digital protocol based on CDMA technology, resulting in greater capacity and lower infrastructure cost. After a series of mergers, PacTel ultimately became part of Verizon Wireless.
Subsequently, Hultman was the CEO of Dial Page where he launched a digital wireless cellular service business through filing of applications for 800 Mhz spectrum, making multiple acquisitions of SMR businesses, working with Motorola to construct a digital mobile network utilizing proprietary Motorola technology. Hultman led four public offerings, raising over $50 million in public and private equity and $650 million through public sale and private placement of high yield debt. Ultimately, Dial Page merged with Nextel at an equity value of $1 billion.
