Scott Webb, Managing Director of LCG’s Special Situations Group (“SSG”), is a finance professional with more than 20 years of experience in accounting, leadership, and consulting. Mr. Webb specializes in providing project management and special situations advisory services to privately held companies dealing with a challenging, critical transition event such as an M&A transaction, refinancing, stakeholder change, restructuring, bankruptcy proceeding, or critical value creation initiative.
SSG’s areas of focus include interim management (CFO,CRO), implementing and remediating financial reporting or ERP systems, due diligence preparation, cash management, cost reductions, and development & execution of value creation plans.
Mr. Webb has served as CFO of five private equity backed companies. Three in aviation, one in automotive lubricants and one in specialty finance. He has also been deployed in numerous senior executive positions to provide interim management and perform remediation across functional areas including information technology (ERP remediation), supply chain, logistics, and human resources.
Mr. Webb brings experience across a range of industries including specialty finance, oil and gas, aviation, industrial services, healthcare, construction, distribution, retail, and manufacturing.
Earlier in his career he was a Senior Auditor at Deloitte and a Senior Pricing Analyst at Eckerd Drug Corporation, a multi-billion-dollar pharmacy and general merchandise retailer since acquired by Rite Aid.
Mr. Webb is a CPA, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also an inactive Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
